First of all, bar stools and counter stools are two different things differentiated by the height of the seat. A counter stool is meant for counters (34-36” high) which equates to a 24 or 26” seat height; bar stools are taller, typically 30” seat height for a 42” bar.
Now that we’ve got the technical out of the way – we’re rounding up some of our favorite simple counter stools, and that’s a pretty tall order.
